Your answers live on your device by default.
Every scan, answer, and note is stored in your browser's local storage. No account is required, and without one, your answers are never sent to a server. You can use SoulXray start to finish without telling us who you are.
An account is optional — and does one thing.
If you create one (email + password), your progress is stored on our server for exactly one purpose: syncing it across your devices. Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes. We never post, share, or analyze your heart data for any other purpose.
Sharing happens only when you choose.
A share link contains only what you selected, is revocable by you at any time, and expires after 30 days. You can restrict a link to specific people, who must sign in to prove it's them. No pastor, church, or group can see your results — or require them. Ever.
No ads. No selling data. No email required.
There is nothing on SoulXray that monetizes your heart: no ad networks, no data brokers, no upsells at your most vulnerable moment. It's free because it's meant as a gift, not a funnel.
The AI reflection is optional processing.
When you finish a scan, a short personalized reflection may be generated by an AI model. Your scan summary is sent for that single request and not used to train anything. If AI is unavailable, you get a Scripture-based reflection instead.
This is a mirror, not a counselor.
