Breaking free
Freedom from drugs
Whatever the substance — street, prescription, or 'just to sleep' — the pattern is the same: relief that rents space and then claims the house. 'Sin will have no dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace' (Romans 6:14) is a real promise, and it usually arrives through means: confession, community, and yes, medical help — withdrawal from some substances is dangerous without it, and a doctor or detox program is part of God's provision, not a rival to it. Relapse on this path is a fall on the path, not the end of it.
