Breaking free
Freedom from comfort eating
Eating the stress, the sadness, the boredom — then carrying the shame of it to the mirror, which sends you back to the fridge. Jesus made a claim aimed straight at this loop: 'I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger' (John 6:35) — some hungers were never food's job to fill. One honest caution: if eating feels out of control in ways that frighten you — restriction, purging, bingeing — that's also a medical matter, and a doctor or counselor belongs on this path with you.
